Job description
Role Overview
AL Gahwa Al Arabiya is looking to hire an IT Technical Support professional right away. The role calls for someone experienced, hands-on, and able to take ownership of technical support across the company’s systems, infrastructure, and network environment.
What You Will Do
- Assist with a wide range of IT issues covering hardware, software, networking, and core business systems.
- Set up and administer email domains, mailboxes, and associated email services.
- Work on application connectivity and integration issues across business tools and platforms.
- Install, configure, and support operating systems, software, and other business applications.
- Deploy, monitor, and maintain LAN/WAN setups, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, and other network equipment.
- Diagnose and fix problems with desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
- Keep systems running smoothly by monitoring performance, improving uptime, and supporting security.
- Carry out updates, backups, and routine preventive maintenance on IT systems.
- Respond to user issues promptly and professionally.
- Coordinate with external vendors and service providers whenever needed.
- Maintain accurate IT records, asset lists, and technical documentation.
- Follow internal IT policies and cybersecurity standards.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- At least 3 to 5 years of experience in IT technical support or a similar position.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of email setup and administration, including Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, DNS, MX, SPF, DKIM, and related services.
- Practical experience with system integration, software deployment, and troubleshooting.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and wireless networks.
- Prior experience supporting Windows operating systems and everyday business software.
- Strong analytical thinking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
- Ability to work independently while managing several technical tasks efficiently.
- Preference will be given to candidates available to join immediately.
