Job Summary

We are recruiting a Janitor responsible for comprehensive cleaning and upkeep of assigned areas within one or multiple client buildings. Duties vary depending on client requirements, so adaptability and willingness to perform different janitorial tasks are essential.

Work Schedule and Compensation

The position pays $12 per hour with shifts from Monday through Sunday, 6 AM to 11 AM.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all types of floor surfaces including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming
• Apply chemical cleaners and operate power cleaning equipment carefully to avoid damage
• Clean and monitor restrooms, meeting rooms, hallways, and entrance spaces
• Dispose of waste properly, including trash compaction where applicable
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using correct products and tools
• Spot treat carpets and assist with deep carpet cleaning like extraction and shampooing
• Restock paper goods and sanitary items as needed
• Adhere to a structured housekeeping timetable
• Use heavy-duty cleaning machinery such as floor scrubbers, backpack vacuums, and buffers as required
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned based on work scope or client needs

Mandatory Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent, or at least six months of janitorial work experience
• Willingness to undergo on-the-job training
• Keen attention to detail
• Ability to follow instructions reliably

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning or janitorial services
• Knowledge of custodial standards and commercial cleaning practices
• Familiarity with floor maintenance techniques such as buffing and waxing
• Experience in industrial cleaning or facilities upkeep
