Job description
About LADbible Group
Established in 2012, LADbible Group is reshaping how entertainment and news are delivered to a social-first generation. Our content, including editorial articles, videos, documentaries, and live programming, reaches a global community of 1 billion people monthly. Our core mission is to empower youth voices by fostering communities that inspire laughter, reflection, and action through major platforms worldwide. We have quickly become one of the largest publishers globally.
Role Overview
As part of expanding our Editorial Team, we're increasing the size of our Journalist Network. We invite applications from all experience levels, from junior to senior journalists. You will produce quick-turnaround articles for our brands such as LADbible, UNILAD, SPORTbible, Tyla, and GAMINGbible. Your work will involve covering breaking news, viral stories, and pop culture tailored to a global youth audience. Tasks include sourcing stories, working on leads typically provided by Social Editors, and generating accurate, brand-appropriate content rapidly.
Work Environment
This is a dynamic newsroom with varied daily tasks and frequent opportunities to develop original pitches and to lead coverage on key editorial moments.
Key Responsibilities
- Create engaging, precise articles aligned with each brand’s style.
- Produce trending content swiftly, as well as pitch innovative ideas and follow-ups on major stories.
- Proactively research latest news, trends, and reports to stay ahead of competitors.
- Monitor article performance using metrics like sessions and engagement time to inform future content and improve writing quality.
Candidate Attributes
- Ownership: Taking accountability for outcomes beyond assigned tasks.
- Speed: Making decisions quickly and learning from outcomes.
- Audience Focus: Consistently considering what resonates with our community.
- Collaboration: Contributing to team success, sharing openly, and setting aside ego.
- Curiosity: Continuously learning about new platforms, formats, trends, and especially AI.
Working Arrangement
Our business operates blended working models with most departments, including Manchester, London, and international offices, requiring in-office presence four days per week.
Inclusivity Statement
LADbible Group is committed to equal opportunity employment and actively seeks to build a diverse workforce where every individual can express their authentic selves. We aim to amplify underrepresented voices and provide a supportive environment for all employees.
