Role overview

Infosys is looking to add a Junior In-House Immigration Associate to its London-based immigration function in the UK. This position supports a broad range of immigration and right-to-work activities for employees and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

  • Handle UK work permit processes, including Certificate of Sponsorship issuance and related steps.
  • Review, validate, and organize supporting paperwork such as application forms and support letters.
  • Submit work permit applications for Infosys employees and liaise with the Home Office as needed.
  • Coordinate with employees to help complete right-to-work verification checks.
  • Prepare for and support both internal and external UK immigration audits.
  • Respond to immigration questions and visa-related needs for locally based employees, including UK outbound travel queries and business visa support.
  • Provide immigration guidance to internal partners such as the recruitment team.
  • Spot process gaps and work with different stakeholders on improvement initiatives.
  • Support vendor coordination and management activities.
  • Assist the wider European immigration team with projects and additional needs when required.

Requirements

  • Graduate degree with at least 3 years of professional experience in UK immigration.
  • Strong, clear, and concise written and verbal communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset with a strong focus on outcomes.
  • Comfortable handling multiple priorities in a busy environment.
  • Able to quickly learn and follow internal procedures.
  • Must already have UK work authorization and must not require employer sponsorship.
