For the HR Administration / Payroll team at the Bremerhaven site, the company is looking for a commercial payroll administration specialist as soon as possible.
Your role
This position is suitable for applicants with varying levels of payroll experience, ranging from initial exposure to several years in the field. Depending on your background, you will gradually take on more responsibility in payroll administration and support employees and managers with payroll-related questions.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with the monthly payroll run, including support during month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Maintain employee master data carefully, including tax attributes and social security details.
- Review payroll-relevant information such as working hours, contract changes, and special payments.
- Handle notifications and submissions to social insurance providers and public authorities.
- Contribute actively to the ongoing improvement and refinement of payroll processes.
Profile and requirements
- Completed commercial vocational training, for example as a tax clerk, industrial clerk, office clerk, or in a similar field.
- Initial payroll or compensation accounting experience, or a strong willingness to learn the topic.
- Ideally, knowledge of income tax law and social security law.
- Confident use of MS Office and, preferably, payroll software systems.
- Good written and spoken English skills for working in an international environment.
- A structured, dependable, and independent way of working.
- High commitment, resilience, and a practical, hands-on attitude.
