Junior Project Manager - Advisory

About the role

This opportunity is for an ambitious early-career professional to join daa International’s airport advisory team as a Junior Project Manager – Advisory. The position is centered on supporting high-value consulting work for international clients in the aviation sector.

From the outset, you will contribute to meaningful projects that influence airport development and performance. You will build practical experience across project coordination, analysis, content creation, and client interaction while working with experienced specialists in a fast-moving global environment.

The role also offers international exposure through travel to client locations and the chance to develop into a future leader within airport advisory services.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning, coordination, and delivery of advisory assignments for global clients.
• Monitor schedules, milestones, and outputs so work is completed on time and to a high standard.
• Help maintain accurate, well-organized project records and documentation for the Advisory and Delivery teams.
• Prepare client-ready materials such as reports, presentations, and analytical deliverables.
• Carry out research and analysis to generate practical, data-backed recommendations.
• Work closely with colleagues across functions to keep project outputs clear, consistent, and aligned.
• Communicate with clients to collect information, share updates, and present findings.
• Develop productive relationships with clients and other project stakeholders.
• Handle stakeholder questions and issues quickly, professionally, and constructively.
• Keep up to date with aviation industry developments, standards, and best practices.
• Be available for regular international travel, including on-site support at global locations.

Requirements

• 1 to 3 years of professional experience, ideally in aviation, consulting, or project management.
• Exposure to one or more of the following is preferred: human capital development, airport operations, global business environments, or programme management.
• Strong ability to plan, organize, and manage several priorities at once.
• Good analytical and problem-solving ability, with skill in turning information into usable insight.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce polished reports and presentations.
• Confidence using Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and other project management tools.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage workload, and switch priorities when needed.
• Flexible, proactive, and comfortable adapting to changing demands.
• Effective team player who contributes positively to shared goals.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and commitment to quality.
• Capacity to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
• Positive, resilient, and motivated attitude with energy and initiative.
• Strong willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic consulting setting.
• Availability and willingness to travel internationally, sometimes at short notice.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline such as aviation management, business, economics, or engineering.
