About The Job

We are seeking a Junior QA Engineer to support the testing and quality assurance of web applications and software solutions. This role offers hands-on experience in software quality assurance, ideal for fresh graduates or early-career professionals looking to build their skills alongside experienced QA professionals and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain web applications using both front-end and back-end technologies.
• Conduct functional, regression, and user acceptance testing for various web applications and software solutions.
• Create, update, and execute test cases and scenarios aligned with business and technical requirements.
• Identify, document, track, and verify software defects, collaborating with developers and stakeholders for timely resolution.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure overall product quality and successful project delivery.
• Manage and maintain testing documentation, results, and defect reports.
• Assist in test automation efforts and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements And Qualifications

• Fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply.

• Up to 2 years of experience in software testing, quality assurance, or related fields is beneficial.
• Possess a foundational understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and the software development lifecycle.
• Familiarity with web applications, APIs, databases, and defect management processes is advantageous.
• Exposure to test automation tools and frameworks is a plus.
• A commitment to actively engage in training programs, mentoring, workshops, and certification courses as assigned.
• Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies, tools, and development practices.
• Possess good verbal and written communication skills.
• Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

Eligibility Requirement

This is an on-site position in Singapore, part of the IMDA Company-Led Training (CLT) Programme. Only Singapore Citizens and Singapore Permanent Residents are eligible. Sponsorship for work passes will not be provided.
