Work Schedule

This role follows an afternoon shift from Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

The Labourer position based in Ottawa, ON involves supporting the daily dismantling and recycling work related to vehicles. This job is ideal for individuals passionate about automobiles and comfortable with manual labor.

• Extract and inspect used tires from vehicles in the yard
• Use hand tools or machinery to safely remove tires from rims
• Sort, inspect, and separate rims for resale or scrap recycling purposes
• Stack and organize rims and tires within assigned storage locations
• Support yard maintenance by cleaning up debris, scrap metal, and unusable vehicle parts

Required Qualifications

• Previous experience in general labor or related roles
• Capacity to lift and handle loads up to 50 pounds
• Able to maintain efficiency in a fast-moving work environment
• Dependable with a readiness to learn multiple facets of the business
• Comfortable working outdoors in changing weather conditions
