Role Overview

This Laundry Attendant position involves managing the resort's linen and laundry services with attention to quality and safety.

Primary Responsibilities

• Sort, clean, dry, iron, fold, and arrange hotel and guest linen following standard procedures.
• Operate and care for industrial laundry machinery efficiently and safely.
• Inspect linens for stains or damages and report findings to supervisors.
• Handle various fabric types according to their care instructions.
• Keep the laundry area and equipment spotless and well-organized.
• Track linen stock and inform about shortages or defective items.
• Adhere to hygiene, safety, and quality protocols consistently.
• Support collection and distribution of clean garments across departments as necessary.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 1 to 2 years working as a Laundry Attendant in hotels, resorts, or commercial laundries.
• Experience handling industrial laundry equipment is favored.
• Basic understanding of fabric care, stain removal, and laundry workflows.
• Physical capability to lift, carry, and stand for long hours.
• Strong eye for detail and dedication to cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work well both independently and collaboratively.
• Willingness to work in rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Language proficiency: Malayalam (mandatory), good English communication skills; Hindi is a plus.
• Educational background: At least completion of high school (10th/12th standard) or equivalent.
• Additional credentials like certifications or vocational courses in Laundry Operations or Housekeeping are advantageous.
• Previous hospitality industry experience preferred.
