Candidate Profile

You should be a forward-thinking strategist with demonstrated expertise in water infrastructure planning and investment decision-making, possessing 15 or more years of relevant experience. Strong systems thinking is essential to synthesise technical, environmental, and economic factors. Experience liaising with senior stakeholders in councils, utilities, or government agencies in New Zealand's water sector, coupled with an understanding of sector reforms, is crucial. The role requires excellent communication skills to simplify complex concepts and a commercial outlook to foster client relationships. A commitment to long-term positive environmental and community outcomes is vital.

Work Culture and Conditions

This full-time position is located in Tauranga with a hybrid work arrangement encouraging three days per week onsite to balance collaboration and flexibility.
