Lead QA/QC Engineer

Overview

The Lead QA/QC Engineer will spearhead quality assurance and control functions to uphold project standards and industry regulations. This role demands close collaboration with various stakeholders to maintain stringent quality levels across petroleum construction projects.

Primary Responsibilities

• Establish and oversee quality assurance and quality control frameworks and practices.
• Perform both internal and external quality audits to ensure adherence to standards.
• Guarantee that project outputs comply fully with contractual specifications and internationally recognized quality standards.
• Liaise effectively with clients, consultants, and project teams concerning quality-related issues.
• Assess Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), methodology statements, and other quality documents critically.

Qualifications and Experience

• Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Compulsory certifications include CSWIP 3.2 and ISO 9001 Lead Auditor.
• A minimum of fifteen years of overall professional experience.
• At least ten years of specialized experience in quality assurance within the Oil and Gas sector.
• Comprehensive understanding of QA/QC protocols, inspections, audit processes, and compliance mechanisms.
• Preferred background includes involvement in Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) as well as offshore and onshore oil and gas projects.
