As the company expands, it is creating a premier mortgage operation concentrating on investor and Debt Service Coverage Ratio (DSCR) lending, integrating institutional thoroughness with startup agility.

Role Overview

This position offers a competitive base salary and represents a critical operational role in a rapidly growing business division. We seek a proactive and execution-focused individual who excels in dynamic settings, takes full ownership of loan processing from start to finish, and is enthusiastic about influencing and developing Truehold's mortgage processing capabilities as the platform expands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage DSCR and investor mortgage loans from initial disclosures through loan closing stages.
  • Review, authenticate, and organize documentation from borrowers, properties, and third parties to ensure completeness of loan files.
  • Calculate and verify DSCR metrics, rental income, and cash flow figures according to lender guidelines.
  • Submit loan packages for underwriting, handling all underwriting conditions until final approval and clear-to-close status.
  • Work collaboratively with loan officers, wholesale account executives, underwriters, borrowers, title/escrow personnel, appraisers, and other vendors.
  • Monitor loan progress, follow up on pending conditions, and proactively address issues to maintain loan momentum.
  • Maintain detailed loan notes, manage document tracking, and update statuses in loan origination systems and lender portals.
  • Ensure adherence to investor mandates, internal policies, and relevant regulatory standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in mortgage loan processing.
  • Strong knowledge of mortgage documentation, underwriting prerequisites, and closing procedures.
  • Proficiency using wholesale broker portals.
  • Familiarity with investor documentation, rental income analysis, and cash flow assessment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational ability to handle multiple loans concurrently.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience specifically with DSCR and real estate investor loan products.
  • Background in non-agency or non-qualified mortgage (non-QM) investor lending.
  • Exposure to working within high-volume or rapidly scaling mortgage operations.
