Logistics Accountant

Job Overview

NAVIX is seeking an experienced Accountant specialized in logistics, fulfillment, warehousing, or last-mile delivery sectors to oversee daily accounting and financial activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Track daily cash flows and generate short- and medium-term cash flow forecasts.
• Reconcile collections from customers, cash on delivery amounts, bank statements, point-of-sale settlements, and payment gateway transactions.
• Audit and align invoices from delivery partners, warehouses, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Prepare statements for clients while ensuring billing and collection operations are accurate and prompt.
• Monitor revenue, direct expenses, and profit margins categorized by client, service type, and shipment.
• Manage operational advances, employee reimbursements, petty cash, and supplier payments efficiently.
• Maintain precise accounting records to support monthly and quarterly closures.
• Compile VAT reports in compliance with Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority (ZATCA) regulations.
• Design and implement financial control and reconciliation procedures tailored for logistics and fulfillment activities.
• Develop management reports reflecting cash status, receivables, payables, revenues, costs, and profitability metrics.

Candidate Requirements

• Degree holder in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline.
• At least three years of accounting experience, preferably within logistics, third-party logistics (3PL), fulfillment, warehousing, transportation, or last-mile delivery domains.
• Comprehensive knowledge of cash flow oversight, cash on delivery reconciliation, client settlements, and supplier account management.
• Good understanding of Saudi VAT rules and ZATCA compliance requirements.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software solutions.
• Meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical capabilities, and independence in task execution.
• Effective communication skills in both Arabic and English languages.

Additional Information

Candidates possessing direct experience in logistics accounting, fulfillment operations, or last-mile delivery reconciliation are highly preferred.
