Role Overview

The Logistics Manager at Wise Solutions.Eco is tasked with overseeing the planning, coordination, and optimization of logistics activities to facilitate seamless movement, storage, and distribution of products throughout the supply chain. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams, suppliers, carriers, warehouse staff, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth logistics processes and uphold operational excellence alongside customer satisfaction.

Core Duties

  • Manage transportation operations, inventory flow, warehouse coordination, order processing, and distribution planning.
  • Supervise daily logistics activities and develop strategies aimed at enhancing efficiency, lowering costs, and improving service quality.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations while evaluating logistics performance and identifying areas for process enhancements.
  • Implement best practices to boost productivity and operational effectiveness within the logistics function.
  • Support demand forecasting, inventory oversight, shipment scheduling, and carrier coordination to guarantee prompt deliveries and optimal resource deployment.
  • Analyze logistics data, generate operational reports, monitor key performance indicators, and suggest improvements based on performance trends.
  • Collaborate with procurement, operations, customer service, finance, and other departments to align logistics initiatives with overall business goals.
  • Contribute to the selection and management of logistics service providers, assist in contract administration, oversee transportation expenses, and help devise contingency strategies to mitigate supply chain interruptions.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
  • Deep understanding of logistics processes, including transportation, warehousing, inventory control, and distribution.
  • Familiarity with supply chain principles and recognized logistics best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, capable of interpreting operational metrics to uncover improvement opportunities.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS), transportation management systems (TMS), enterprise resource planning (ERP) tools, or similar software.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills to collaborate cross-departmentally.
  • Competence in negotiation, coordination, and stakeholder management.
  • Capacity to manage several projects concurrently in a fast-paced setting while meeting deadlines.
  • Knowledge of inventory management, demand planning, freight coordination, and logistics performance measurements.
  • Leadership qualities with sound decision-making and continuous improvement focus.
  • Adaptable and proactive in identifying and implementing operational efficiencies.
  • Uphold professionalism, integrity, and accountability in managing confidential business operations.
  • Dedication to ongoing improvement and providing superior logistics solutions.
