Job description
Role Overview
Kingdom Services Group Ltd is seeking multiple Machine Minders to join a leading food manufacturing company specializing in crisp production based in Norwich (NR5). This contract-based role requires onsite presence and offers full-time hours with shifts designed for work-life balance.
Work Schedule and Compensation
- Shift patterns include a 3 days on/3 days off day shift or a 3 days on/3 days off to 4 days on/4 days off night shift arrangement.
- Shift hours are 07:00 to 19:00 for day shifts and 19:00 to 07:00 for night shifts.
- Hourly pay ranges from £14.00 to £17.73 depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Shift Managers and Team Leaders in ensuring smooth, efficient production line operations.
- Maintain stringent product quality, good manufacturing practices (GMP), health and safety standards, and customer service excellence.
- Help the team meet key performance indicators (KPIs) by fostering motivation and training.
- Operate various production machinery effectively.
- Perform machine setup, cleaning, and teardown as required.
- Encourage open communication across all organizational levels.
Requirements
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts.
- Proficient communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Positive mindset with a strong willingness to learn.
- Previous food production experience is advantageous but not mandatory as training will be provided.

- The position offers temporary contracts with the possibility for permanent employment after a minimum of 12 weeks.
