Machine Minder

Role Overview

Kingdom Services Group Ltd is seeking multiple Machine Minders to join a leading food manufacturing company specializing in crisp production based in Norwich (NR5). This contract-based role requires onsite presence and offers full-time hours with shifts designed for work-life balance.

Work Schedule and Compensation

• Shift patterns include a 3 days on/3 days off day shift or a 3 days on/3 days off to 4 days on/4 days off night shift arrangement.
• Shift hours are 07:00 to 19:00 for day shifts and 19:00 to 07:00 for night shifts.
• Hourly pay ranges from £14.00 to £17.73 depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Shift Managers and Team Leaders in ensuring smooth, efficient production line operations.
• Maintain stringent product quality, good manufacturing practices (GMP), health and safety standards, and customer service excellence.
• Help the team meet key performance indicators (KPIs) by fostering motivation and training.
• Operate various production machinery effectively.
• Perform machine setup, cleaning, and teardown as required.
• Encourage open communication across all organizational levels.

Requirements

• Ability to work 12-hour shifts.
• Proficient communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Positive mindset with a strong willingness to learn.
• Previous food production experience is advantageous but not mandatory as training will be provided.
