Role overview
This position is designed to develop a future Management Executive by giving the selected candidate broad exposure to operational and support functions, while handling assigned duties under managerial guidance. The role is centered on building the skills needed to work independently in a management capacity over time.
It also provides practical involvement in advanced initiatives such as automation, infrastructure work, electric vehicle solutions, solar power systems, and battery energy storage systems. These projects offer exposure to modern technologies and sustainable business applications.
Training and work exposure
The incumbent will complete mandatory on-the-job training across multiple areas, including packaging, warehousing, technical and maintenance operations, customer service, and health, safety, quality, and environment. The aim is to gain a wider understanding of how different parts of the business operate.
In addition, the role includes hands-on participation in improvement, innovation, and automation efforts that are intended to raise efficiency and reduce manual dependency.
Key duties
- Support managers by taking on assigned responsibilities and tasks.
- Contribute to improvement and automation initiatives that strengthen operational performance.
- Build planning, organising, and stakeholder communication skills through day-to-day work.
- Assist the department head in planning and directing departmental activities.
- Review standard operating procedures and help simplify workflows where possible.
- Assess work results and productivity levels.
