Job description
Role overview
This position serves as the bridge between global teams and local operations, with a strong focus on defining manufacturing methods, standardizing processes, aligning technical requirements, and coordinating changes.
Key responsibilities
- Create, update, and control manufacturing procedures, routings, work instructions, and process flow documentation.
- Contribute to new product introduction, industrialization, first article inspection, and rate-readiness activities.
- Assist the shop floor in troubleshooting production problems and addressing non-conforming output.
- Help ensure that all work meets aerospace quality expectations and customer-specific requirements.
- Support production planning by contributing to capacity assessment and delivery commitment tracking.
- Take part in root cause and corrective action work, audits, and customer review meetings.
- Liaise with customers for technical clarifications and to manage engineering changes.
- Lead continuous improvement efforts such as Lean and Kaizen activities, along with cost and cycle-time reduction initiatives.
