Overview

This role demands strategic leadership and technical guidance to oversee the entire Outer Layer manufacturing process. Responsibilities include managing synchronized chemical processes, high-precision imaging, and solder mask application to ensure multilayer circuit boards attain stringent quality benchmarks and production yield goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead operational excellence across Outer Layer, Photo Printing, Chemical Processing, LPSM, AOI, and Specialized Finishing departments, meeting or exceeding all set KPIs.
  • Formulate production plans balancing machinery, manpower, and methods to maximize process capabilities under strict controls.
  • Optimize workflow by regulating throughput to minimize Work-in-Progress and shorten turnaround times.
  • Maintain exemplary 5S housekeeping standards to ensure a safe, clean, and top-tier manufacturing environment.
  • Collaborate on quality control by tracking scrap rates and supporting root cause analyses to implement continuous improvements to reduce rework and increase throughput.
  • Work closely with maintenance teams to keep critical production assets calibrated, maintained, and operating optimally.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental protocols related to chemical handling and manufacturing processes such as outer layer, AOI, photo-printing, LPSM, and printing.
  • Manage manpower budgeting and forecasting to assure proper staffing, supporting 24/7 or peak production demands.
  • Oversee training and certification of engineers and technicians aligned with current SOPs, promoting skill enhancement.
  • Mentor technical team members fostering career development and structured growth paths.
  • Guarantee all process documentation, SOPs, and work instructions are updated, precise, and adhered to on the shop floor.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other relevant technical fields, or commensurate professional experience.
  • 5 to 10 years of experience within a manufacturing industry, inclusive of at least 3 years in leadership or supervisory roles.
  • Experience in Printed Circuit Board (PCB) manufacturing is highly advantageous.
  • Technical knowledge and competence related to PCB manufacturing processes, with process trend expertise as a bonus.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills capable of driving organizational initiatives effectively.
