Job description

Role Overview

In this role, you will support the Market Data Services function within JPMorganChase, working in a fast-moving environment where product outcomes and compliant market data usage are key priorities. The position centers on vendor management, licensing support, audit coordination, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure third-party market data is used appropriately across proprietary applications.

What You'll Do

  • Act as a key day-to-day contact for stock exchanges and external market data vendors, handling queries, renewals, updates, and ongoing relationship management.
  • Assist in setting up and maintaining market data licensing for internal applications by working with technology and application teams to map how data is accessed, used, and shared.
  • Help convert licensing obligations into practical operating requirements and support any necessary tracking or attestations to maintain compliant usage.
  • Coordinate vendor and exchange audits by gathering evidence, aligning stakeholders, tracking issues, and following through on remediation until closure.
  • Work with Global Sourcing and Legal to review, interpret, and operationalize new or revised licensing terms and contract language.
  • Maintain productive relationships with vendors, exchanges, and internal partners so coverage stays current in an evolving market data environment.
  • Communicate effectively across business, technology, legal, sourcing, and vendor groups, escalating risks with clear context and recommended next steps.

Required Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accountancy, Economics, or a similar field is required, along with formal training or at least 2 years of hands-on experience in project management, compliance, audit, vendor management, or operations. You should be comfortable managing multiple priorities, working with detailed information, and communicating with a wide range of stakeholders. A basic grasp of market data concepts and common vendor products is also expected, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Preferred Experience

Experience with contract review, licensing terms, usage restrictions, or audit clauses will be an advantage. Prior exposure to audits, evidence collection, issue tracking, and closure management is also helpful. A foundational understanding of application development and infrastructure concepts such as networks and servers will make it easier to partner with technology teams. Familiarity with AI tools or automation for workflow improvement is preferred.
