About the Role
JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Marketing Associate in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, to enhance how investors and advisors discover, understand, and engage with their investment capabilities. This role involves collaborating across teams to launch client-focused campaigns through digital, event, and content channels. Within the Investment Management Marketing team, you will be responsible for creating and implementing targeted marketing strategies to boost awareness, educate clients, and support the expansion of investment products throughout Australia and New Zealand. You will work closely with local, regional, and global partners to execute campaigns across digital platforms and events, monitor performance, and continuously refine the overall client experience.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and execute local channel marketing plans that align with business and marketing objectives.
- Collaborate with local, regional, and global stakeholders to advance the marketing agenda in Australia.
- Organize and manage proprietary and third-party sponsored events, including coordinating vendors, developing speaker messages, handling logistics, and finalizing materials.
- Maintain and update the Australia website, tailoring pages to support specific themes and product campaigns.
- Assist in the management of wholesale and institutional marketing budgets, including tracking expenses and reconciling accounts.
- Analyze competitor activities, market data, and client behavior to derive insights and improve marketing strategies.
- Monitor and report on key outcomes such as lead generation, sales conversion rates, and return on investment.
- Assess the customer journey across various channels and touchpoints to enhance engagement and user experience.
- Ensure all marketing materials and activities comply with internal controls and external regulatory standards.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, challenge existing methodologies, and enhance the effectiveness of campaigns.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
- Possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant professional experience.
- Have a minimum of 3 years of marketing experience; a more junior candidate may be considered based on their overall profile.
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of the managed funds and exchange-traded funds (ETF) market, as well as the adviser and institutional channels within Australia.
- Exhibit a proven capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively and deliver high-quality work by set deadlines.
- Possess strong analytical abilities, with the skill to transform data into practical, actionable insights.
- Communicate exceptionally well, both in writing and verbally, including experience with financial writing and presenting to senior leadership.
- Showcase proven project management capabilities and experience in cross-functional collaboration.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail and a disciplined approach to execution.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills
- Experience in digital and social media marketing, including website content management, search engine optimization (SEO), and search engine marketing (SEM).
- Experience in measuring campaign performance and improving conversion rates through testing and optimization techniques.
- Comfort working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with evolving priorities.
- Demonstrate initiative, take ownership, and exercise sound judgment when working independently.
- Experience collaborating within a global organization and managing multiple stakeholder relationships.
