About Baybridge Lawyers
Baybridge Lawyers is a renowned law firm located in Sydney's CBD, offering expertise in diverse areas including corporate, franchising, property, criminal law, automotive, and construction. The firm works with some of Sydney's top legal professionals and is now developing its marketing function to match the excellence of its services. This role is pivotal in shaping that marketing journey.
Role Overview
The Marketing Coordinator role is a dynamic, hands-on position integral to the marketing efforts of Baybridge. Reporting directly to the Head of Marketing & Brand, the successful candidate will manage execution of marketing strategies across multiple platforms, including digital, content creation, campaigns, and CRM management. As an initial sole marketing hire alongside the Head, this role offers a wide variety of responsibilities from website oversight to event coordination and business development support, with opportunities for growth toward a Marketing Executive position.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage website content updates adhering to brand and style guidelines.
- Coordinate digital marketing initiatives, track performance, and optimize campaigns.
- Lead SEO monitoring and implement improvements to enhance online visibility.
- Oversee the monthly content schedule across social media, blogs, and email channels.
- Create and edit diverse content formats including social media posts, articles, and partner thought leadership pieces.
- Publish scheduled content and monitor audience engagement daily.
- Source and design visual elements using Canva and collaborate with graphic designers as needed.
- Facilitate podcast production and manage content collaborations.
- Support the launch, monitoring, and optimization of paid media campaigns including retargeting and performance reporting.
- Manage CRM data hygiene, segmentation, workflows, and automated lifecycle marketing communications.
- Coordinate award submissions and maintain the awards calendar.
- Assist in PR efforts and liaise with external PR contractors.
- Plan and oversee firm events and conference participation, managing logistics and supplier relations.
- Provide support for partner business development activities and networking touchpoints.
- Serve as the main contact for external contractors, ensuring quality checks of their deliverables.
Candidate Profile
- Between 2 to 4 years of marketing experience, preferably in professional services or B2B sectors.
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple marketing channels and projects.
- Solid understanding of general marketing principles, including digital platforms for search and social media.
- Excellent writing skills aimed at producing polished, brand-aligned content.
- Familiarity with tools such as Canva, Google Analytics 4, Meta Business Manager, Google Ads, and CRM systems—experience with GoHighLevel is advantageous but not essential.
- Highly organized with capability to manage various priorities and meet deadlines efficiently.
- A proactive, builder's mentality eager to contribute to shaping a new marketing function.
- Strong background in email marketing, comfortable working with automation and nurturing sequences using tools like GoHighLevel, ActiveCampaign, Mailchimp, Klaviyo, HubSpot, Zoho, or Pipedrive.
What Baybridge Provides
- A broad-ranging, hands-on marketing role at the core of a developing marketing team.
- Direct mentorship and daily collaboration with the Head of Marketing & Brand.
- Exposure to a full spectrum of marketing activities rather than a specialized niche.
- Defined career advancement possibilities toward Marketing Executive as the team expands.
- Modern, well-equipped offices in Sydney's CBD with premium facilities.
- A supportive, approachable workplace culture that values people beyond just work.
- Competitive salary package ranging from $75,000 to $85,000 plus superannuation, dependent on experience.
