Job description

Role Overview

The Marketing & Events Coordinator at Greentank Technologies is pivotal in orchestrating the physical brand presence by organizing, preparing, and executing trade shows, conferences, and industry events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take charge of all logistics related to trade shows and events, including packing, tracking, and unpacking marketing materials and displays.
  • Attend events to oversee booth setup and dismantling, manage storage zones, and assist in lead collection and client interactions.
  • Coordinate shipping, freight, and storage logistics with vendors to ensure timely arrival of event equipment.
  • Handle travel plans such as flights, accommodations, and local transport for team members and maintain accurate budgets and schedules for events.
  • Conduct competitor analysis and identify strategic opportunities for participating in or sponsoring future events.
  • Collect and organize marketing content assets including client testimonials, case studies, and multimedia materials.
  • Maintain and manage the inventory of event resources and support internal teams with file and asset organization requests.
  • Investigate industry awards and manage application processes by gathering necessary documentation and assets.
  • Perform additional related tasks as assigned.

Candidate Requirements

  • Currently pursuing or completed a post-secondary degree/diploma or an equivalent blend of education and experience in communications, marketing, media, or event planning.
  • Valid passport enabling international travel to the USA and Europe is mandatory.
  • Possession of a vehicle for local travel within the Greater Toronto Area is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated expertise in trade show and event logistics; experience with international exhibitions is a plus.
  • Capable of managing multiple projects efficiently within dynamic environments, with great attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to liaise effectively with vendors, event partners, and internal teams.
  • Proficient with Google Suite and Microsoft 365; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite tools like Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign is considered an asset.
  • Strong motivation for marketing operations and ability to engage in physical activities on-site, including lifting and organizing materials.

Compensation & Additional Details

This position offers an hourly wage of $24. The role requires travel to international events and physical involvement in event logistics on-site.
