Role Overview

This full-time, on-site role based in Navi Mumbai involves conducting maintenance and repair operations on offshore and marine equipment. The Mechanical Technician/Engineer will ensure optimal performance and reliability of machinery through preventive and corrective maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on offshore equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical failures and implement corrective repairs.
• Manage inventory related to maintenance activities.
• Prepare daily progress reports and detailed job, service, and project documentation.
• Engage with clients effectively and liaise during project execution.
• Operate efficiently within team settings and offshore environments.
• Report progress and issues to the Navi Mumbai workshop team.

Qualifications and Skills Required

• Diploma, ITI, or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical certification.
• Experience of 1 to 2 years in Oil & Gas offshore grouting, workshop maintenance, or mechanical repair work.
• Proficient in equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair techniques.
• Skilled in preventive maintenance practices and safety protocols applicable to the Oil & Gas industry.
• Good command of English, both spoken and written.
• Computer literacy with MS Office and related tools.
