As one of the founding teams in the A-League, the club competes among twelve premier Australian football clubs annually. Role Overview
Reporting directly to the GM Operations, the Membership Coordinator will manage and implement the club's membership and ticketing programs. This role is pivotal in surpassing revenue goals consistent with the club's ambitious growth plans. It requires a candidate with expertise in developing, managing, and executing effective membership and ticketing campaigns while enhancing overall fan experiences. The successful individual will be passionate about driving income growth and well-versed in industry trends and technological advancements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and carry out strategic plans for membership and ticketing programs aligned with club objectives.
- Work collaboratively with teams to set and achieve revenue targets and related KPIs.
- Oversee all facets of the membership program, including planning, execution, and management.
- Apply retention strategies to improve value for current members.
- Regularly analyze market trends and member input to innovate and improve membership offerings.
- Design and implement marketing strategies for ticket pricing, promotions, and distribution.
- Introduce systems to streamline ticket operations and elevate fan engagement.
- Keep updated with best practices and emerging technologies in ticketing solutions.
- Partner with GM Operations to surpass membership and ticketing revenue goals.
- Identify new revenue opportunities and work to maximize profitability.
- Coordinate with marketing, sales, merchandise, and other departments for unified fan engagement and revenue efforts.
- Serve as a key interface between ticketing, membership teams, and other organizational units.
- Promote a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.
Qualifications and Skills
- Comfortable working under high pressure with a consistent focus on best fan and member outcomes.
- Self-motivated with strong problem-solving abilities and a results-driven mindset.
- Innovative thinker with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent judgment and creative skills for solving problems.
- Effective stakeholder management, capable of influencing and collaborating with peers and clients.
- Energetic, adaptable, cooperative, and proactive team player impacting strategy and operations positively.
- Preferred: Degree in Commerce, Marketing, or similar field.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in ticketing and membership roles.
- Strong organizational skills to prioritize business initiatives effectively.
- Adept at creating customized presentations.
