Role Overview
In this role, you will lead merchandising strategy for the Men’s and Unisex categories, supporting growth across markets and channels. The position calls for close partnership with Branding, Design, Merchandise Planning, Visual Merchandising, and Supply Chain teams to shape and roll out both long-term and seasonal product direction. A key part of the job is building assortment strategies for men’s and unisex product lines using brand insights, market trends, and commercial demand signals.
Collection Planning
- Create and implement product line plans for men’s and unisex shoes, bags, and accessories.
- Build regional collection plans and define key styles for each market based on brand direction, trend research, and local market insight.
- Put commercial initiatives in place that help improve sales performance.
- Monitor the market closely, prepare competitive shopping reviews, and turn those insights into recommendations for future product development.
Merchandise Management
- Work with R&D, Supply Chain, and Merchandise Planning to develop core, best-selling, and highlight styles that support brand story and commercial strength.
- Partner with the Merchandising Planning team to drive category growth and improve profitability in each market.
- Collaborate with Visual Merchandising on effective product presentation that increases customer interest and supports sales.
Product Management
- Maintain and enhance the item classification guide so product grouping remains accurate, compliant, and useful for analysis.
Seasonal Product Pricing Strategy
- Work with the Merchandising Planning team to recommend retail pricing and identify any pricing gaps or improvements needed.
- Set seasonal price points by balancing margins, perceived product value, and market competitiveness.
Seasonal Buying Preparation
- Coordinate deliverables and timelines with the relevant internal and external stakeholders for each season.
- Share merchandising strategy and major seasonal priorities with the buying teams.
Data Analysis and Reporting
- Prepare dashboard charts and analyses using Qlik Sense, Excel, and internal product lifecycle tools.
- Review global performance after launch and after buying each season by product line and region, then translate findings into feedback and action plans.
- Track sales performance and identify market opportunities or gaps to inform future collection planning.
Requirements
- A degree in Fashion Merchandising, Retail Management, or Business.
- At least 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Prior exposure to regional markets, particularly South-East Asia and Greater China.
- A strong analytical, data-led approach with a clear focus on outcomes.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Strong interpersonal, planning, and organizational abilities in a fast-moving environment.
- A collaborative mindset and team-oriented approach.
- An outgoing personality with a strong sense of personal style.
- A sharp eye for fashion and genuine enthusiasm for the industry.
