Merchant Executive

About the Company and Role

Sribir Overseas, based in Sector 11, Noida, operates in the Fashion Jewellery and Fashion Accessories industry. They are seeking a motivated Merchant Executive, either Junior or Senior, with a solid foundation in fashion jewellery and lifestyle accessories including bags, scarves, and belts.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end merchandising activities from product conceptualization through shipment.
• Liaise with international buyers and suppliers on aspects such as product development, pricing, sampling, and production.
• Source and develop items in fashion jewellery and related accessories.
• Ensure follow-ups on sample approvals, production schedules, and shipment timelines.
• Negotiate pricing with vendors while ensuring quality standards are met.
• Oversee order execution to guarantee timely delivery.
• Collaborate with quality assurance, production, and logistics teams.
• Create costing sheets, confirm orders, and produce merchandising reports.
• Maintain strong relationships with buyers and vendors.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Fashion, Merchandising, Business, or a related discipline.
• 2 to 8+ years of experience relevant to Junior or Senior Merchant roles.
• Hands-on expertise in managing fashion jewellery and accessory products.
• Proficient knowledge of product development, sourcing, costing, and order management.
• Excellent communication and negotiation capabilities.
• Good understanding of international merchandising procedures.
• Competency in MS Office applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to thrive under tight deadlines in a high-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within export houses or buyer offices.
• Strong skills in vendor management and client communication.
• Attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
• Self-driven with the ability to handle multiple orders simultaneously.

Location and Employment

This is a full-time position located at Sribir Overseas in Sector 11, Noida, Uttar Pradesh.

Compensation

The monthly salary is in the range of INR 18,000 to INR 20,000.
