About the Role
Join Arcus Restoration, part of American Restoration, as a Mitigation Technician where you play a critical role in cleaning up after fires, floods, water damage, mold, and other extraordinary disaster events. Key Responsibilities and Expectations
- Deliver outstanding customer service recognizing each client as the priority.
- Perform cleanup and restoration work on sites affected by various disasters.
- Work collaboratively with the team to complete tasks thoroughly and efficiently.
- Maintain a professional appearance and hygiene by showing up clean and well-groomed daily.
- Be prepared to work heavy lifting duties and maintain stamina for long days and occasional night shifts.
- Rotate on-call shifts as disasters can occur unpredictably, requiring response during any hour.
- Adhere to safety standards and company policies including maintaining a clean driving record.
Requirements
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with coworkers and clients.
- Mental toughness and physical capability to handle demanding situations and challenging environments.
- Physical fitness to handle heavy labor and endurance for extended work periods including nights.
- Availability to work up to 50 hours per week with flexibility to cover on-call duties.
- Non-smoker and maintain a clean-cut, professional image.
- Reliable transportation and a clean driving history are mandatory due to unpredictable disaster response times.
- Must successfully pass background check, drug test, and Motor Vehicle Record evaluation.
- Eligibility to work as verified by I-9 employment eligibility certification.
Compensation
The starting wage is $18.00 per hour for candidates without prior experience. Candidates with relevant experience may receive a higher starting pay rate based on their background.
