MOT Tester

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced MOT Tester to join a busy, reputable independent automotive service centre located in Bognor Regis. This role offers the chance to work within a supportive workshop environment that values quality workmanship, thoroughness, and excellent customer service.

Working Hours and Benefits

• Monday to Friday: 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM
• Every other Saturday: 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM (2 Saturdays monthly)
• Salary range: £36,000 to £38,000 annually, based on experience
• Annual salary increments
• Yearly bonus scheme
• Holiday entitlement: 20 days plus 8 bank holidays
• Immediate start possible

Main Duties

• Conduct MOT tests compliant with DVSA regulations
• Perform thorough vehicle inspections and health checks
• Detect and report vehicle defects or necessary advisory work
• Accurately complete all relevant MOT paperwork
• Maintain a tidy, secure, and well-organized workspace
• Provide support to the broader workshop team as needed

Candidate Profile

• Certified MOT Tester holding a valid MOT licence
• Proven experience in performing MOT tests within a workshop setting
• Possess a Full UK Driving Licence
• Exceptional attention to detail and dedication to maintaining high standards
• Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team
