Job description
Role Overview
We are seeking a Nurse Educator for the Women's and Infants Service Line to support Postpartum and NICU departments across several campuses.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and assess evidence-based educational programs, orientations, and ongoing staff training.
- Lead staff development efforts to improve skills, competencies, and the quality of patient-centered care delivery.
- Perform educational needs assessments and collaborate with leadership to establish competency initiatives.
- Design and record education plans applying adult learning theories, with curriculum design and innovative teaching methods including technology and simulation.
- Maintain detailed records of training sessions, attendance, evaluations, and competency verifications.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- At least five years of clinical experience in specialty nursing areas.
- Current RN licensure.
- Specialty area certification and teaching experience are desirable.
- Comfortable using Windows OS, Microsoft Word, and other relevant applications; familiarity with spreadsheets, databases, and graphic tools is a plus.
