Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed assessments to evaluate functional abilities, limitations, and goals of NDIS clients.
• Create customized treatment and intervention plans aimed at maximizing client independence and functionality.
• Provide therapeutic interventions supported by current evidence.
• Work collaboratively with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop person-centered care plans.
• Conduct both individual and group therapy sessions to improve daily living capabilities, cognition, mobility, and self-care skills.
• Educate and support clients, caregivers, and support workers regarding occupational therapy approaches.
• Maintain precise and current client records and documentation.
• Stay up-to-date with ongoing research, best practices, and regulatory updates related to NDIS and community care.
• Engage in team discussions, case reviews, and professional development activities.

Essential Requirements

• Degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification.
• Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Valid driver’s license for Australia.
• Current or willingness to obtain NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• Current or willingness to acquire Working with Children Check.
