Role Overview

With a growing user base and diverse inventory, the focus is on optimizing the entire flow of goods from user handover to resale readiness. The model emphasizes leveraging AI and partner collaboration to create an efficient system.

This hands-on role entails close cooperation with the founders, cross-functional teams, and key partners to shape and manage operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end business performance for the item pipeline including pickup, shipping, intake, quality assurance, storage, packing, resale preparation, partner coordination, and returns.
• Design and refine the operational framework involving staff, AI agents, partners, and gig workers.
• Lead and nurture the operations team.
• Collaborate with founders on the resell operating system roadmap, automation strategies, and operational milestones.
• Drive system architecture for scaling, including warehouse design, partner integration, storage approaches, and service level agreements.
• Establish and maintain service standards based on product journey, user segment, categories, and item value density.
• Implement systems to ensure authenticity, prevent fraud, and build trust.
• Continuously measure performance, conduct experiments, and drive iterative improvements.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience in e-commerce, recommerce, quick commerce, retail, or other consumer businesses featuring complex product workflows and broad partner networks.
• Knowledge of fulfillment processes, warehousing, returns management, repair or refurbishment, and operational excellence.
• Demonstrated ability to build and lead teams, define standards, manage SLAs, and foster high-performing organizations.
• Strong user-focused approach and insightful understanding of consumer business models.
• Systems thinker with strategic insight on building, partnering, automating, or streamlining operations.
• Affinity for AI integration and familiarity with AI-driven workflows in physical operations.
• Excellent partner relationship management and ability to coordinate across functions.
• Entrepreneurial spirit, hands-on attitude, agility in a fast-moving startup environment, and adaptability to early-stage complexities.
• Detail-oriented with high quality standards and passion for operational excellence.
• Based in Berlin with ability to work onsite at the Berlin Mahlsdorf Office/Warehouse.
• Fluency in English and advanced German skills (C1 level) are significant advantages.
