Job Summary

The Package Handler position involves responsibilities such as loading, unloading, shipping, receiving, scanning, sorting, and stocking packages. Candidates may operate heavy machinery as required to effectively carry out these tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Learn and accurately implement company-specific package handling procedures.
• Load and unload packages into trailers or package delivery vehicles efficiently.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Capability to lift packages weighing up to 70 lbs (32 kgs).
• Ability to read and memorize postal codes to assist sorting processes.
• Flexibility to work various shift hours up to five days weekly.
• Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Available to work Monday to Friday from approximately 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM, with some variation in start and end times depending on operational demand.

Compensation and Benefits

• Starting wage of $17.65 per hour.
• Progressive wage increases in accordance with the Union Teamsters Collective Agreement.

Additional Information and Terms

• Union dues are deducted monthly.
• A union initiation fee will be deducted after 90 days of working.
