Assignment Overview

We are seeking a part-time, temporary prep teacher for grades K-7 for the term spanning September 1st, 2026 through June 30th, 2027. This role constitutes an 18.8% full-time equivalent position. Subject assignments and scheduling will be determined in collaboration with the school administration.

Compensation

The remuneration for this position is based on the district's current salary grid, reflecting verification of BC Teaching Qualifications Service (TQS) and validated prior work experience. The annual salary range spans from $63,347 to $116,190, paid over ten months and prorated according to the assignment's FTE.

Required Qualifications

  • Legal authorization to work in Canada; note that this job is not eligible for LMIA-based job offers.
  • Relevant training and experience in elementary education.
  • Possession of a valid British Columbia Teaching Certificate.
