Job Description

We seek a Patents Analyst with 3 to 7 years of relevant experience in patent lifecycle management, preferably with a background in Electronics, Mechatronics, Automobile, or Mechanical engineering. The candidate will handle patent analytics including patentability searches, invalidity studies, freedom-to-operate analyses, and landscape studies. Responsibilities extend to patent validation, managing IPO forms, engaging in inventor discussions, and utilizing patent databases such as Orbit, WIPO, and EPO effectively. A strong understanding of patent laws and proficiency in patent search tools is essential. Familiarity with automobile sector technologies, particularly upstream technologies, is required.

Responsibilities

  • Independently assess and validate patentability of inventions.
  • Guide inventors in transforming ideas into detailed Technical Memos or invention disclosures.
  • Conduct comprehensive patent searches including patentability, invalidity, and freedom-to-operate analyses.
  • Utilize patent search databases and tools proficiently, keeping abreast of patent laws.
  • Participate actively in brainstorming sessions and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Communicate findings clearly to stakeholders, prepare presentations, and maintain tracking via Excel and PowerPoint.

Open to any graduate meeting the educational qualifications.

Educational Qualifications & Experience

Graduate or Post-Graduate in Electronics, Mechatronics, Automobile, or Mechanical Engineering with 3 to 7 years of relevant experience in patent analytics.
