Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated full-time Patient Services Coordinator at RMA of New York located in Eastside, NYC. This role offers an engaging opportunity to grow professionally within a nationally recognized organization while maintaining direct patient and team assistance.

Work Schedule and Compensation

  • Monday to Friday shifts: either 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM or 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM, assigned as per practice requirements
  • Weekend rotation includes shifts from 6:45 AM to 12:00 PM or 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM based on need
  • Two holidays off annually
  • Hourly pay ranges from $17.00 to $19.00, commensurate with experience

Primary Responsibilities

  • Engage with patients using polite and effective communication techniques
  • Manage front desk operations efficiently
  • Handle telephone calls and coordinate appointment scheduling
  • Prepare patient charts accurately, ensuring proper documentation
  • Collect payments from patients at service time and confirm insurance details
  • Apply sound judgment and proactive initiative consistently
  • Maintain a professional, approachable, and outgoing demeanor
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to excellent patient care
  • Operate independently and collaborate as a team member

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum education: High School diploma; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Proficient verbal and reading communication skills
  • Basic computer literacy and familiarity with office equipment
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications
  • Previous medical office experience is advantageous; passion for reproductive medicine is essential
