Payroll Specialist

About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated Payroll Specialist to join a well-regarded corporate group near Langen, Hesse, Germany. This full-time or part-time role offers an engaging environment with creative freedom, flat hierarchies, and genuine opportunities for career growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently managing payroll for approximately 600 employees across multiple entities using DATEV software.
• Maintaining employee master data and digital personnel files.
• Providing advice to employees and managers on income tax and social security matters.
• Generating reports and payroll analyses.
• Handling statutory reporting procedures and certification processes.
• Supporting audits and internal payroll-related projects.

Qualifications & Experience

• Completed commercial training with an additional qualification in human resources preferred.
• At least three years of experience in payroll processing, ideally with DATEV software.
• Strong knowledge of income tax and social security legislation.
• Customer-oriented mindset, discretion, and ability to work well within a team.
• Good command of English and proficient use of MS Office applications.
