Role Summary

This position is perfectly suited for a meticulous podcast editor enthusiastic about narrative and audio-visual production. The focus is on editing episodes discussing millennial themes such as relationships, family, careers, and health. Episodes range from 40 to 60 minutes with up to three camera perspectives. This fully remote role offers creative contribution opportunities and flexibility, aiming to enhance episode quality so that the host can concentrate on content creation and engaging listeners.

Key Responsibilities

Edit podcast audio and video using DaVinci Resolve, ensuring seamless transitions and professional audio quality.
Perform basic color correction and grading for video to achieve a polished and uniform appearance.
Handle synchronization and management of multiple camera angles.
Produce and deliver final episodes in the required formats punctually.
Work closely with the host to incorporate critiques and maintain the show's consistent tone and style.

Candidate Requirements

Proficient use of DaVinci Resolve for audio and video editing.
Background in editing podcasts or equivalent long-form content.
Strong eye for detail coupled with the skill to deliver engaging, clean edits.
Fundamental knowledge of color grading for video material.
Competence in managing multiple video angles and synchronizing audio tracks.
Excellent communication skills and receptiveness to feedback.
Dependable internet access and capacity to work remotely.
Availability to edit episodes on a consistent schedule.
