Based at North Strathfield, Sydney, this on-site internship spans three months and involves hands-on experience with public relations, media outreach, and content development alongside an experienced marketing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Compose press releases, media pitches, and organizational statements.
- Conduct research on Australian property, finance, and business sectors to uncover PR prospects.
- Facilitate media outreach by maintaining journalist and media contact databases.
- Coordinate interviews, podcasts, and media engagements for company executives.
- Track media coverage and generate weekly reports evaluating PR impacts.
- Support executive LinkedIn content creation and thought leadership initiatives.
- Identify collaborators among influencers, podcasts, and YouTube channels.
- Oversee brand reputation by monitoring media references and online discussions.
- Assist marketing campaigns with PR-oriented communications and promotional content.
- Work collaboratively with the Marketing department on content and brand visibility projects.
Candidate Profile
- Students or recent graduates in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related disciplines.
- Strong written and verbal communication capabilities.
- Proficient research skills and excellent organizational talents.
- Interest in media, brand development, business, or Australia's property market.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace platforms.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn and social media is a plus.
- Motivated, eager to learn, and attentive to detail.
- Capable of working independently yet effectively within a team.
