Company Overview

Dyson is a pioneering technology company committed to innovation and continuous improvement. Founded by James Dyson with the invention of the first cyclonic vacuum cleaner over 40 years ago, the firm remains privately owned, free from external shareholder influence, and focused on pushing the boundaries of technology to solve everyday challenges.

Role Summary

The Pricing Operations Lead Analyst supports Dyson's global pricing function by ensuring timely, accurate, and consistent implementation of pricing decisions across multiple markets and systems. This individual plays a critical role in maintaining single selling prices (SSPs), pricing data integrity, operational controls, and process discipline to empower the Pricing, Finance, CRO, and Market teams to function efficiently and confidently.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Accurately implement new product SSPs and approved pricing changes within scheduled timelines.
  • Align pricing actions with approved pricing packages, effective dates, market, and channel requirements.
  • Validate pricing uploads and outputs to reduce errors and rework.
  • Maintain pricing master data with emphasis on accuracy, completeness, and audit readiness.
  • Ensure documentation of pricing approvals, FX-driven changes versus strategic adjustments, and effective date tracking is properly stored and accessible.
  • Support pricing audits and perform reconciliations to promptly identify discrepancies.
  • Assist in managing global pricing governance by tracking pricing requests and approvals, maintaining standard templates and workflows, and ensuring process adherence.
  • Identify incomplete inputs, data inconsistencies, or non-standard requests and escalate to senior team members.
  • Conduct routine pricing health checks, including monitoring SSP versus average selling price variances, missing or outdated prices, and FX impacts.
  • Prepare foundational pricing summaries and inputs for pricing review meetings.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives such as process simplification, template standardization, data automation, and tooling enhancements.
  • Identify recurring issues to improve pricing quality upstream.

Experience and Skills

  • 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in pricing operations, commercial operations, finance operations, sales operations, or related fields.
  • Familiarity with pricing, master data, or financial systems is preferred.
  • Experience working in multinational or regional contexts is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Strong attention to detail and dedication to data accuracy.
  • Effective organizational and time management skills.
  • Comfortable analyzing structured data and numerical information.
  • Excellent communication skills fostering collaboration across different teams.
  • A process-oriented approach combined with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with pricing or ERP systems are advantageous.
