Process Operator - Rendering Plant (Shift Work)

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated Process Operator to become part of our Rendering Plant production team at the Nobber location. This critical role involves operating within an 8-hour shift schedule that covers both day and night shifts including weekends. The primary goal is to optimize operational efficiency and help meet key performance indicators consistently.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the production PLC system to oversee manufacturing, collect operational data, and produce relevant reports.
• Promptly identify any operational issues and communicate them to the production supervisor.
• Meet production capacities and key performance indicators.
• Ensure thorough handover of essential information between shifts.
• Take product samples and deliver them to the laboratory for quality control analysis.
• Conduct routine facility maintenance and housekeeping tasks, including equipment inspections and preventive upkeep.
• Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and regulations as dictated by the Health and Safety Authority and related agencies.

Experience & Skills Required

• Capability to effectively organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Proficient computer skills to support system operations.
• Very strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Excellent communication abilities for clear reporting and coordination.
