Role Overview
The Procurement Coordinator position is a full-time, on-site role based in Jeddah. This role supports comprehensive purchasing operations related to the company's real estate and community development projects. Key responsibilities include managing purchase order preparation and processing, liaising with suppliers, tracking deliveries, and ensuring that goods and services align with quality standards, cost requirements, and project timelines.
Key Duties
The role entails maintaining precise procurement documentation, assisting in vendor performance evaluations, and aiding contract negotiations in partnership with the procurement team. It also involves monitoring inventory levels, identifying purchasing needs, and frequently communicating with internal departments to ensure purchasing activities are synchronized with project schedules and budgets. Collaborating closely with project teams, finance, and operations on-site is essential for efficient procurement processes.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven skills in procurement and purchasing, including purchase order management and supplier coordination.
- Strong analytical abilities to assess quotations, conduct cost comparisons, and support informed purchasing decisions.
- Effective communication skills for engaging with vendors and collaborating across teams.
- Attention to detail with proficiency in procurement or ERP software, spreadsheets, and standard office applications.
- Knowledgeable in procurement best practices, supply chain workflows, and vendor management.
- Experience in real estate, construction, or related sectors is advantageous.
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related disciplines preferred.
- Capability to work on-site in Jeddah, juggle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
