Procurement Specialist

Role Overview

The Procurement Specialist is responsible for managing purchasing functions to support the operations and vendor collaborations of JobsAICopilot. This part-time position is located in Berlin, Germany, offering flexibility for partial remote work.

Key Duties

• Prepare and process purchase orders efficiently.
• Collaborate with internal teams to identify and define purchasing requirements.
• Assess suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability metrics.
• Assist with contract negotiations to secure advantageous terms while fostering strong supplier relations.
• Monitor supplier performance and maintain accurate procurement documentation and reporting.
• Optimize procurement workflows to comply with company policies and promote cost-effective sourcing.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of procurement procedures and relevant tools.
• Proven experience in handling purchase order creation, management, and tracking.
• Competence in evaluating suppliers on performance, risk, and pricing.
• Skilled in contract negotiation practices.
• Strong analytical abilities for data interpretation and comparative quote analysis.
• Experience within procurement, supply chain, or operations roles, ideally in technology or SaaS sectors.
• Capacity to work collaboratively in a hybrid environment involving Berlin-based and remote colleagues.
• Proficiency in spreadsheet software and procurement/ERP platforms; excellent English communication skills, with German considered an added asset.
• Preferred educational background in business, supply chain management, finance, or related disciplines.
