Job Summary and Role Overview
This position is a full-time, one-year term role anticipated to become permanent, requiring 75 working hours bi-weekly. Advance supervisory approval may permit temporary adjustments. The Yukon Liquor Corporation aims for exceptional service that supports a healthy and prosperous territory. Operating multiple stores and facilities across Yukon, the corporation supports local food, beverage, and cannabis sectors with ongoing business evolution.
Primary Responsibilities
- Forecast and procure liquor and cannabis products for the corporation.
- Source existing and new products ensuring optimal value.
- Coordinate special orders for both internal departments and external customers.
- Maintain accurate inventory and pricing systems.
- Coordinate transportation logistics with freight companies for inbound products.

Essential Qualifications
- Extensive recent experience analyzing sales, inventory, and forecast data to guide purchasing and inventory management, anticipating supply chain issues/opportunities.
- Experience negotiating pricing, contract terms, and product availability with licensed producers, suppliers, and vendors.
- Proven background in product purchasing and purchase order management within a distribution context.
- Knowledge and experience with procurement protocols, supply chain logistics, transportation, Microsoft Office tools, and inventory or warehouse management systems.

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
