Product Analyst

Overview

This opportunity is on behalf of a partner organisation based in the United Kingdom seeking a Product Analyst. The role centers on converting complex product and user data into strategic insights that foster business expansion and enhance customer experience. Positioned at the confluence of analytics, product management, and business strategy, the role aims to maximize product performance on digital platforms by leveraging data-driven decision-making. The analyst will work cross-functionally to assess new features, refine user journeys, and uncover possibilities for higher user engagement and increased revenue. Responsibilities

• Examine product metrics and user behaviors to spot trends, opportunities, and improvement areas.
• Establish, track, and refine essential product KPIs including retention, conversion rates, lifetime value, revenue, and churn.
• Design and sustain dashboards and reporting tools to assist decision-making across Product, Marketing, and Operations departments.
• Perform detailed analysis of customer journeys, feature uptake, promotional campaigns, and overall product outcomes.
• Collaborate with Product Managers for assessment of new releases, enhancements, and A/B experiments.
• Detect friction points in the customer experience and propose data-driven solutions.
• Coordinate with data teams to maintain data quality, consistency, and accessibility for analytics.
• Convert complex analytic results into concise, actionable insights accessible to technical and business stakeholders.
• Contribute to customer segmentation, personalisation strategies, and market research to elevate user engagement and business results.

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience as a Product or Data Analyst in digital product environments.
• Strong abilities in SQL and managing extensive datasets.
• Proficiency with business intelligence software such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar platforms.
• Thorough understanding of product analytics, customer behavior, experimentation, and A/B testing.
• Experience using event analytics platforms like Google Analytics 4, Amplitude, or Mixpanel is beneficial.
• Familiarity with digital product monetization, customer lifecycle management, or online platform analytics is preferred.
• Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Exceptional communication skills to effectively convey insights to diverse audiences.
• Knowledge of Python or statistical tools is an advantage.
• Self-driven, adaptable, and skilled in collaborating within a remote team setting.
