About the Role

DICE is seeking a Junior Product Designer to join their product design team in London. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to various design disciplines, including user interface flows, brand assets, campaign visuals, and motion graphics. The position involves working across multiple squads, providing support on product design initiatives such as ticketing flows, motion asset creation for campaigns, and social media assets for feature launches. Reporting to the Head of Product Design, you will work alongside experienced designers who provide mentorship and constructive feedback, fostering growth in different areas of design.

Candidate Profile

  • Possess between one and three years of professional design experience in environments such as agencies, studios, or in-house product teams.
  • Demonstrate a solid grasp of design fundamentals, ready to be refined and enhanced.
  • Have a portfolio showcasing a wide range of design work including UI/product designs alongside brand, motion, or campaign projects.
  • Experienced with motion design tools such as Jitter, After Effects, Rive, or similar platforms, with a preference for adaptability in software.
  • Illustration skills or an eagerness to develop them is advantageous.
  • Ability to design responsive interfaces across web and native mobile platforms.
  • Passion for music and dedication to promoting live entertainment experiences.
  • Strong desire to learn, openness to feedback, and motivation to grow across diverse design areas.
  • Own your design craft with responsibility, understanding that learning from mistakes is essential for development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support on product design tasks within squads, focusing on delivering polished UI and interaction designs.
  • Create engaging brand assets and visual content for promotions, product launches, and campaigns.
  • Produce motion and animation content for digital platforms, including applications, websites, and social media.
  • Contribute graphic design and storytelling elements for social media campaigns to maintain brand alignment.
  • Assist in evolving DICE's brand through illustration, graphic creativity, and innovative design explorations.
  • Participate actively in design critiques and collaborate with designers, writers, and researchers.
  • Effectively communicate design choices and foster a positive team environment.
