About the Role
Sproxil is looking for a skilled Product Manager to manage and expand its line of digital products. This position requires a proactive and independent professional who can lead product discovery, documentation, coordination of delivery, and continual enhancement post-launch across several products. Collaboration with teams such as Business Development, Engineering, Operations, Sales & Marketing, along with external partners, is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of specific product segments within Sproxil’s portfolio.
- Convert business objectives, regulatory requirements, and market conditions into clear product challenges and opportunity evaluations.
- Lead organized product discovery processes including engaging stakeholders, conducting internal sessions, analyzing customer insights, and validating assumptions.
- Contribute to strategic plans fostering adoption, user engagement, and transaction growth, particularly in regulated sectors.
- Develop and upkeep comprehensive product documentation such as product requirement documents, functional and non-functional specifications, release notes, and version controls, adhering to global best practices to facilitate understanding across Engineering, QA, Sales, and Operations teams.
- Clearly define scope, assumptions, dependencies, and risks associated with product developments.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering to ensure smooth product delivery from conception to release, involving active participation in sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Work with Marketing and Business Development to support product positioning, sales enablement materials, and readiness for market launch.
- Coordinate product launches effectively, managing internal preparation and external rollout activities.
- Establish and monitor key success metrics such as adoption rates, conversion statistics, user engagement, and operational efficiencies.
- Analyze product performance and customer feedback post-launch to guide iterative improvements and identify value-adding enhancements for customers and business stakeholders.
- Serve as a dependable contact for product-specific initiatives, offering succinct, data-driven updates regularly.
- Proactively identify and communicate risks, trade-offs, and decision points, providing informed recommendations.

Candidate Profile and Requirements
- At least five years of experience as a Product Manager or a comparable position within tech-focused organizations.
- Demonstrated success in managing products involving multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams, particularly in B2B, platform-based, SaaS, or regulated sectors.
- Proven capability to perform independently with limited oversight.
- Advanced skills in product thinking including problem identification, prioritization, and decision-making based on desired outcomes.
- Outstanding proficiency in written communication and producing product documentation.
- Strong familiarity and comfort working alongside Engineering teams, including understanding technical compromises and delivery challenges.
- Exceptional organizational skills to balance various workstreams concurrently.
- Business acumen with understanding of commercial factors and revenue impacts.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
- Experience relating to supply chain solutions or AI-enabled products.
- Knowledge of African or other emerging markets' business environments.
- Background working with regulatory or compliance-driven product frameworks.
