Product Manager AI Trainer (Contract Remote)

In this role, you will directly contribute by reviewing data and offering insights to improve large language model (LLM) outputs, ensuring AI systems deliver accurate and reliable career guidance for product management professionals.

Engagement Details

This position is a short-term, consultant role under an independent contractor agreement. You will work remotely from the United States and control your schedule using your own tools. The assignment involves approximately 90 minutes of expert evaluation work on a project basis focused on career advice quality.

Project Summary

The project centers on assessing AI system effectiveness in providing career guidance across professional roles, specifically product management. Your expertise will help create benchmark answers and evaluation rubrics to measure AI output accuracy regarding industry standards, product strategy, stakeholder management, career progression, and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality benchmark responses for product management career inquiries.
• Create detailed scoring rubrics to evaluate AI-generated guidance.
• Assess AI recommendations for product strategy, roadmap planning, stakeholder management, user research, analytics, and teamwork leadership.
• Identify inaccuracies, omissions, or unrealistic elements in AI-generated advice.
• Apply your professional judgment to ensure evaluation materials mirror real-world PM expectations.
• Provide written explanations supporting your assessment decisions when required.
• Maintain adherence to project guidelines and quality standards throughout the engagement.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of product management experience is preferred.
• Proven background owning product strategy, roadmaps, feature rollout, or launch activities.
• Familiarity with product lifecycle management, customer discovery, prioritization, and cross-functional teamwork.
• Excellent analytical skills and strong written communication abilities.
• Ability to fairly and consistently evaluate professional career guidance.
• Experience mentoring product managers or participating in hiring processes is advantageous.
• Knowledge of AI, data annotation, rubric design, evaluation frameworks, or prompt engineering is a plus.
