Role Overview
In the capacity of a Product Manager II within the Lexis+ portfolio, you will be responsible for one or several specific product capabilities. Your role involves end-to-end ownership from discovery, development, launch, to continuous optimization. You will collaborate closely with customers and interdisciplinary teams to innovate AI-driven legal research, drafting, workflow, and productivity products, ensuring integration and optimal usage of legal content to deliver maximum value.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of a designated product domain, being ultimately accountable for delivering on customer satisfaction and business targets throughout the product lifecycle.
- Engage directly with users to understand and validate their unmet needs, identifying avenues for innovation and product enhancement.
- Develop and maintain product roadmaps by evaluating customer insights, analytical data, commercial impacts, strategic priorities, and technical factors.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, data analytics, and commercial teams to transform customer challenges into effective product solutions.
- Establish and track success criteria; leverage analytics and experimental data to inform product decisions and assess impact.
- Support the formulation of product strategy, including business case development and market analysis considering competitors and commercial feasibility.
- Work closely with sales, marketing, customer success, and operational divisions to ensure smooth product launches and drive adoption.
- Effectively communicate priorities, decisions, trade-offs, and progress to internal stakeholders at all levels.
Qualifications and Experience
- Between 4 and 6 years of product management experience or in closely related roles, ideally within legal tech, content management, or information services domains.
- Proven experience taking ownership of product capabilities or features, managing them through discovery, launch, and ongoing refinement.
- Demonstrated success in producing measurable business and customer outcomes.
- Skilled in creating product plans, building business cases, defining requirements, and steering roadmap priorities.
- Experience working across diverse teams and influencing various stakeholders through transparent communication and alignment.
- Strong analytical, commercial, and organizational abilities, adept at prioritizing competing demands and making data-backed decisions.
