Role summary

This opening is for an experienced Product Manager with 5 to 8 years of background in product management inside the IT or software sector. The role centers on shaping product direction, guiding development efforts, and making sure the final output supports both company goals and customer expectations. Success in this position calls for leadership, strong analytical thinking, and effective teamwork across multiple functions.

Working arrangement

Employment is full-time and permanent. The role is based in Islamabad in a hybrid setup, with remote flexibility available for candidates in other cities across Pakistan. Working hours are 12:00 PM to 09:00 PM, and the workweek runs for 5 days.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain the product vision, strategy, and roadmap in line with organizational objectives.
• Research the market, review competitors, and gather customer insights to uncover opportunities.
• Collect, assess, and rank business and user needs so the right work is delivered first.
• Partner with Product Owners, engineering, design, QA, and other stakeholders to release strong products.
• Prepare PRDs, user stories, and detailed feature specifications.
• Oversee the product from idea stage through launch and ongoing enhancement.
• Track product metrics, KPIs, and customer feedback to support informed decisions.
• Set feature priorities based on business value and user impact.
• Work with leadership to ensure product plans match broader strategic goals.
• Help deliver releases on schedule without compromising quality.
• Keep stakeholders informed about progress, roadmap changes, and product updates.

Required qualifications and experience

• 5 to 7 years of experience as a Product Manager in an IT or software company.
• Hands-on experience managing software products across the full product lifecycle.
• Solid knowledge of Agile and Scrum practices and product development workflows.
• Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams in a fast-moving environment.
• Strong skills in stakeholder handling, communication, and presentations.
• Good analytical thinking and problem-solving capability.
• Experience building roadmaps, PRDs, and business cases.

Preferred background

• Exposure to SaaS, fintech, e-commerce, or enterprise software products.
• Working knowledge of tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
• Understanding of UI/UX basics and customer journey mapping.
• Experience using analytics and data to guide product choices.
• Technical awareness of software architecture and development workflows.
• Product management certifications are considered an advantage.
