About Farsight AI
Farsight delivers an agentic AI platform tailored for the financial services industry, assisting investment banks and private equity firms in fully automating complex workflows. Currently, institutions spend around 80% of their time manually gathering data and drafting initial materials before refining presentations and models. Farsight's platform reclaims this time for users, while enhancing content with AI-driven insights typically inaccessible without advanced financial-focused AI.
Our Team
Our diverse team has extensive backgrounds from top financial firms like Evercore, General Atlantic, and Menlo Ventures, enhanced by engineering and AI expertise from Amazon, Hugging Face, and the MIT Media Lab. Our leadership includes former founders and early engineers from successful startups. We emphasize hiring exceptional talent to drive our success. The company is based in Manhattan, New York City, requiring onsite presence four days a week, with remote work on Fridays.
Role Overview
This is Farsight's inaugural dedicated Product Manager role, reporting to the CTO, positioned at the intersection of product, engineering, and customer teams. The individual will translate financial services customers' needs into clear product visions and collaborate closely with engineering to execute these plans precisely and swiftly.
The Product Manager will oversee the product roadmap, prioritize features, and bridge communications between client feedback, strategy, operations, and engineering. Due to the complexity involved with agentic workflows and financial clients, the ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong interest in AI and fluency in investment banking and private equity terminologies.
Responsibilities
- Lead ownership of the product roadmap and manage prioritization across engineering, design, and go-to-market teams.
- Engage directly with Investment Banking and Private Equity clients to gain an in-depth understanding of their workflows, challenges, and feedback, converting these insights into precise product requirements.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to scope, specify, and release features ensuring clean, accurate, and auditable AI outputs.
- Develop and monitor relevant metrics to evaluate product success in a non-deterministic AI environment.
- Advocate internally for customer perspectives to ensure product decisions consistently enhance real workflow impacts.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 6 years in product management, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role within startups or fast-growing tech companies.
- In-depth understanding of investment banking or private equity workflows, either from direct financial experience or building products for IB and PE teams.
- Strong technical comprehension of AI systems including reliability factors and potential failure modes, without requiring coding abilities.
- Demonstrated success in independently managing products from problem identification through launch within ambiguous and rapidly evolving settings.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as a founder or initial product manager at an AI-focused startup.
- Hands-on expertise working with large language models (LLMs), agentic AI systems, or AI-driven workflow tools.
- Background in financial services sectors such as investment banking, private equity, or fintech.
- Proven experience collaborating with enterprise customers and integrating their input into product development.
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual base salary ranging between 160,000 and 200,000 USD, aligned with experience level.
- Generous equity package typical for early-stage companies with 4-year vesting and a 1-year cliff.
- Comprehensive health benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage.
- Unlimited paid time off policy.
